CORTONA DOC Syrah<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the fi rst straight Syrah ever produced in our Winery since 2008 and it is our flagship wine. The Cortona area established itself on the national and international wine scene as a perfect territory for the production of this vine, thanks to the particularly favorable climate conditions and the hard work of the producers.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Grape<\/b>: Syrah 100%
\nArea<\/b>: Pietraia (around 290m above the sea level)
\nHarvest<\/b>: End of September \u2013 beginning of October
\nVinification<\/b>: Traditional and d\u00e8lestage, maceration with grape skins for 15 \u2013 20 days
\nAgeing<\/b>: 12 months in 225lt barriques and at least 9 months in the bottle
\nColor<\/b>: Intense ruby red
\nNose<\/b>: Complex bouquet with notes of ripe fruits and black pepper
\nTaste<\/b>: Full, elegant and really persistent
\nAlcoholic Content<\/b>: 13 – 14%<\/p>\n
